2015–2022
Head of Business Operations MRICS
Daniel Watney - London, UK
I started my time at Daniel Watney in the Lease Advisory and Valuation team with a focus on central London. Subsequently I took the opportunity to move into a managerial role where my primary responsibilities included leading the business operations and administration functions and leading organisational change.
Key Achievements:
• 35% departmental savings through resource reorganisation
• Lead WFH firm re organisation in response to UK lockdown
• Digitisation of 9.5 tonnes of live and archived work folders
• Project management of office refurbishment
• Built sales funnel with £37m+ potential revenue
• Delivered and implemented cloud solution of firms IP
• Consulted on product development for two PropTech firms
2014–2015
Surveyor
Cushman & Wakefield - London, UK
Completed portfolio and individual valuation and advisory work for retail assets across the UK. Primary clients included national banks and pension funds.
Key Achievements:
• Built centralised databases for various UK pension fund portfolios
2010–2014
Property Valuer - Commercial AAPI
Acumentis - Perth, Australia
Completed valuation and advisory work for industrial, office and retail assets. Also undertook valuations for insurance purposes, and development appraisals.
Key Achievements:
• Growing and leading building insurance valuation service line
• State trainer for all staff on proprietary PropTech software
• Created a mentoring program for graduates completing the CPV program
• Built models comparing investment returns on commercial, industrial and residential assets

Graduate accountant with an emphasis on small business and individual tax preparation, management accounts and capital gains tax advice.
